MEDITERRANEAN MOSAIC MICHELIN RESTAURANT
Studio IV

In Spring 2024, I was fortunate to be able to study abroad at SCAD’s Lacoste, France campus. Studio IV was an 8-week intensive studio and our team was instructed to design a Michelin star restaurant, bistro, and store located in Marseille, France. As the project leader, I was tasked to design the “Mediterranean Mosaic” Michelin star restaurant, La Mosaica. My specific role as project manager included creating a project and meeting schedule for the team, resolving rendering issues, creating presentation visuals, and ensuring we remained on task. The renderings for the work were completed in Revit (floor plans, elevations, and perspectives) and we also used the app Procreate for additional details.

At the end of 2025, I revisited the project to further develop the interior experience while maintaining the original Mediterranean Mosaic concept. I redesigned the entry, lounge, and dining areas to refine spatial flow, materiality, and atmosphere. The updated process began in Revit, followed by base renderings in Enscape. I then utilized AI visualization software, mnml.ai, to enhance lighting, styling, and human scale elements, creating a more immersive and realistic representation of the space.
